I wanted to let everyone know that American Aero Club is planning a trip to Sun N Fun this year. Everyone is invited to fly down in their own planes with us or there may even be folks that want to share rides. Anyone interested in sharing a ride can contact firstname.lastname@example.org and I can help hook folks up together.
Sun N Fun is April 4th – 9th, current plan is for several folks to leave wed afternoon, and another group leaving out friday afternoon. We plan to return sunday morning back to GMU. These plans can change due to weather and will be updated on this website. For more information you can contact American Aero Club @ email@example.com or (864) 990-5009.

It’s been a little while since our last newsletter, just to start we’ve had many changes @ American Aero Club, but like everything, things evolve and all is good! To start, we have a new Cirrus aircraft N575LD that will be joining the fleet starting December 8th.
Please note we are currently scheduling ground schools for both private pilot and instrument, let us know if you are interested in these times…..(864) 990-5009
What is a Discovery or Intro flight?
There is nothing that quite measures up to the excitement of taking your very first discovery flight. It is a 45 minute flight lesson with a certified flight instructor where they will briefly describe to you the basics of an aircraft in flight, and the basic flight controls. The instructor will take you over downtown Greenville, Furman University, Paris Mountain, and near Table Rock. You will get to take the controls of the airplane while in flight. Including time on the ground before the flight and the 45 minute flight, all told you will be here for about an hour. The flight cost for this is only $. This is the PERFECT way to see if flying is for you, or it can be a perfect gift for a family member.
